A Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy and reality television star is under criminal investigation for falsifying records, Broward Bulldog has learned. Deputy Jerry Wengert, who starred in TLC/Discovery Channel’s “Unleashed: K-9 Broward County,” was notified of the probe in August by the prosecutor in charge of the State Attorney’s public corruption unit. -

Harlan Ginsberg of Coral Springs was rushed to Margate’s Northwest Medical Center in 2006 after a kidney stone attack. During surgery to remove the stone, he says, a doctor mistakenly cut a tube that delivered urine to his bladder and removed a kidney that another doctor testified was healthy.
