Hollywood tenants pushed out for upscale housing sue for relocation assistance

Residents of a Hollywood apartment building say they are entitled to relocation assistance after they were forced out of their homes on short notice to make way for a city-sponsored, multi-million dollar redevelopment plan. The residents made the allegations in a class action lawsuit filed in Broward Circuit Court by Legal Aid Service of Broward County. -

In its only public statements about the Sarasota Saudis who suspiciously quit their home in a gated community in haste two weeks before 9/11 – leaving behind numerous personal belongings — the FBI has said it investigated, but found no connection to the 9/11 plot. Nearly three years later, however, the FBI has yet to back up its assertions.
