A federal judge has dismissed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit seeking to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for a murderous rampage by a Royal Saudi Air Force officer at the Pensacola Naval Air Station nearly five years ago.

The judge in the Pensacola Naval Air Station terrorist shooting case has asked the Biden administration to declare whether victims of the 2019 attack should be barred from suing Saudi Arabia because of “serious and sensitive matters of foreign policy and military affairs.”

The families of three murdered U.S. Navy servicemen and eight others wounded when a Saudi Air Force officer with “significant ties to al-Qaeda” opened fire at Naval Air Station Pensacola in 2019 cannot sue the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for damages, a federal magistrate ruled Thursday.
